Republic of Croatia (RH) Croatia is a Mediterranean and Middle- European country. According to the Constitution of 1990 it is forrned as a unique, indivisible, democratic and social state. The power is divided in three parts: legislative, executive and juridical. The flag has three colors (red, white and blue), the herald is in the white part in the middle. The Croatian coat of arrns consists of 25 red and white cubes. Above them is a crown of an old Croatian coat of arrns, and also the one ofthe Republic ofDubrovnik Dalmatia, Istria and Slavonia. ' Croatia's anthem is "Our beautiful Homeland", which was written by Antun Mihanovié. The music for the anthem was composed by Josip Runjanin .The official currency is kuna, and the officlallanguage Croatian. The length of the Croatian border on the land is 2028 km. In the northeast Croatia has a border with Serbia, in the north with Hungary, in the northwest with Slovenia, in the innerside with Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the south with Montenegro, and on the sea with Italy and Slovenia.
